Register for a puppy
In December 2026, we expect a litter of medium-sized red Australian Cobberdogs from our own mother, Teddy. If everything goes as planned, the puppies will be ready to leave for their new families in late January or early February 2027.
At House of Bears, we breed both as a hobby and professionally. The main difference compared to a professional breeder is that we choose to raise a litter occasionally, with all the time, care, and attention that goes with it. We do not have a continuous supply of puppies.
Health, socialization and care
The health of our dogs is our top priority. We meet the breeding requirements of the MDBA (with which we are also affiliated), including the prescribed hip and elbow examinations, DNA testing, and periodic health checkups. The results are taken into account in our choices for responsible breeding pairings.
Puppies grow up in the house, right in the middle of our family. They are introduced to everyday sounds, people, different surfaces, and new situations in a calm, age-appropriate manner. We pay attention to socialization as well as sufficient rest and individual development.
All puppies are checked, microchipped, and identified by the veterinarian and receive the necessary vaccinations and treatments according to veterinary advice. They are fully registered through the MDBA and leave with a passport and the accompanying pedigree and registration papers. We provide their familiar food and remain available for guidance and questions after departure.
A perfect match for life
Bringing a puppy into your home is a wonderful, but also a long-term responsibility. Therefore, think carefully about the time, attention, training, and care a dog requires. Do you have any questions or would you like to learn more? Then check out our frequently asked questions , where we share a lot of information about the Australian Cobberdog and our way of working. If you are still unsure about anything, feel free to give us a call. We are happy to help you think things through, without any obligation.
Are you sure you can offer a puppy a loving and stable home? Then we warmly invite you to register for this litter.
Follow our adventures
Once you are registered, you will naturally want to know what is happening at our home every day. We understand that very well. That is why we maintain a blog where we share developments regarding the litter and inform you about the various steps and topics that are important to you as a future owner. On our Instagram , you will find more daily updates and daily life content from Teddy and her goofy half-sister Pip. Of course, the puppies will also appear there once they arrive.
We look forward to this special period.
Love,
